Privacy Notice

Thank you for your interest in my website. The protection of your personal data during collection, processing and utilisation is important to me. I will keep your personal data confidential in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this privacy statement.

1. General and compulsory information

When you use this website, various personal data are collected. The present privacy statement explains which data are collected and for what purposes they are used. It also states how this is done and to what end.

I would like to stress that data transfer on the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may involve gaps in security. It is not possible to protect such data completely against access by third parties.

Company responsible for data processing
The responsible entity for data processing on this website is:

Language Link Petra Weber
Printzenhof 9
41366 Schwalmtal/Germany
Phone: +49 (0) 2163 - 929 99 07
E-mail: weber.petra@language-link.de

‘Responsible entity’ stands for the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of personal data processing (e.g. names, e-mail addresses and the like).

Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only feasible with your explicit consent. You may at any time revoke any permission you have given me. You need only send me an informal e-mail. The legality of data processing carried out before your revocation remains unaffected from such revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (paragraph 21 DSGVO)
If your personal data are processed in accordance with paragraph 6, section 1 lit. e or f DSGVO, you have the right to object to their processing at any time and for any personal reasons you might have. This also applies to profiling based on these regulations. More information on the legal basis of data processing is included in this document. If you object, we will stop processing the respective personal data unless we can provide compelling legitimate grounds having priority over your interests, rights and freedoms or unless data processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal rights (objection according to paragraph 21, section 1 DSGVO).

If your personal data are processed for direct advertising, you have the right to object to it at any time. This also applies to profiling linked to such direct advertising. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data for direct advertising purposes (objection according to paragraph 21, section 2 DSGVO).

Right of appeal with the responsible regulatory authority
In case of  violation of the data protection law, the party concerned has a right of appeal with the responsible regulatory authority, namely the data protection commissioner of the federal state in which Language Link Petra Weber is located. You will find a list of data protection commissioners and their contact data if you click on the following link:
https://www.bfdi.bund.de

Right to data portability
You have a right to a handout of the data I process automatically based on your consent or in performance of a contract in a common, machine-readable format. This list can be handed out to you or a third party.  If you ask for these data to be transmitted electronically, either to you or another responsible person, it can only be done as far as technically feasible.

SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential contents, e.g. orders or inquiries you send to me as the website operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by your browser’s address line. It changes from “http://” to “https://” and displays a lock symbol. When the SSL or TLS encryption is active, the data you send me cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion
In the framework of the valid legal provisions, you have the right at any time to get free information on your personal data I stored, on their origin, their recipients and the purpose of data processing. You also have the right to have these data corrected, blocked or deleted. Concerning this and any other topic-related questions, you can contact Petra Weber, the person responsible for data processing, at any time.

Protection of minors
Children and people under 18 years of age must not send me personal data without their parents’ or guardian’s consent.

Links to other websites
My website contains links to other websites. I have no influence on whether their operators comply with the privacy policy.

In accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f DSGVO, such cookies are stored which are required to enable electronic communication or any functions requested by you (e.g. shopping cart function). The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies in order to provide technically flawless, optimised services. As far as other cookies are concerned, e.g. the storage of cookies analysing your surfing habits, they will be treated separately in this privacy statement.

Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transfers to me. These are:

• Type and version of browser
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of accessing computer
• Time of server request
• IP-address

A combination of these data with other data sources is not carried out.

Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f DSGVO is the basis for data processing. This article allows data processing for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Entry of personal data into online forms
Personal data are information used to learn about a person’s identity. Among these are your name, postal address and telephone number. Information that cannot be linked with your identity (for example number of website users) is excluded. You can always use my online service without disclosing your identity.

If you ask for information or contact me via the contact form, I will ask you for your name and other personal information. It is up to you whether you want to share these data. If you send me an inquiry via the contact form, all the data you enter is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and to answer any future questions. I will not forward these data for subsequent use without your consent.

Processing of your data is exclusively based on your consent (article 6, paragraph 1 lit. a DSGVO). You may at any time revoke your consent. You need only send me an informal e-mail. The legality of data processing carried out before your revocation remains unaffected from such revocation. The data you entered will be stored until you ask for them to be deleted, until you revoke their storage or until the purpose of storage becomes obsolete (e.g. after having processed your inquiry). Any legal provisions - particularly regarding storage periods - remain unaffected.

3. Storage, processing and analysis of data

Before you transmit any data, I wish to call your attention to my privacy statement. If you transfer data to Language Link Petra Weber, you agree to my collecting, processing and using your personal data in the framework of the legal regulations. The purpose of their use is closely linked to your individual inquiry. So the data are solely used for the purpose for which they were collected.

Legal basis
Processing of your data is exclusively based on your consent (article 6, paragraph 1 lit. a DSGVO). You may at any time revoke your consent. The legality of data processing carried out before your revocation remains unaffected from such revocation.

Your data are stored on particularly protected servers of Worldsoft AG in Switzerland. Data transmission from the EU to Switzerland is permissible under the data protection laws. After close examination, the EU Commission has confirmed that the level of data protection in Switzerland is as high as in the EU.

I have signed a contract of data processing with Worldsoft AG binding it to protect my client’s data and not to pass it on to third parties. Only very few authorised people have access to the collected data. They are responsible for maintaining the contents and the server technically or commercially.

Usage and traffic data required for the proper functioning of my service are stored for a maximum of six months after collection. If the data are required to comply with the legal, statutory or contractual storage periods (e.g. invoices), these data will be stored longer than that. These data are, however, blocked and can only be accessed by authorised people using passwords.

Transfer of personal data to third parties
It is solely Language Link Petra Weber that uses your personal information. I will not pass your data on to third parties without your express consent. To the extent I am obligated or become obligated to do so by court order, I will transmit your data to any relevant authorities entitled to receive information.

Customer Relationship Management (Worldsoft Business Suite)
This website uses the Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS). It is provided by Worldsoft AG, Churerstrasse 158, 8808 Pfäffikon, Switzerland. The Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS) is a CRM system (Customer Relationship Management) organising and analysing data.

The WBS enables me to separate interested parties from clients by dividing them into categories (so-called tagging). Therefore, addresses can be sorted by sex, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian) or customer relationship (e.g. existing or potential customer).

5. PlugIns and tools

Google Web Fonts
To display fonts consistently, this website uses the so-called Web Fonts by Google. When loading a page, your browser loads the required Web Fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
To this end, the browser you use does not connect with the servers of Google but with the servers of Worldsoft in Switzerland. Therefore, Google will not gain knowledge of your IP address loading my website. Consequently, the use of Google Web Fonts leads to an attractive display of my online presence and benefits the reader. If your browser does not support Web Fonts, your computer will use another standard font.
